Onward!
Hello Bonded Friends!
After I found out about my brother, I took a week off to settle up with my family. It went about as expected, but I did find a chance to see my brother’s house and experience how he lived. I also lounged about a little and let whatever emotions I had wash through me. I can honestly say that his death has hit me differently than I would have expected. I still feel the weight of him on my shoulders since my return to my day job. I also pushed off writing anything during that time. Now that I am back in the saddle, it feels great to be creative again instead of some moody teenager with an attitude problem.
So onto some fun stuff and interesting news! I have joined up in two shows these next couple of months. Next weekend I will be in Council Bluffs, Iowa at the Mid-America center! If you don’t know where that is, It is located across the river from Omaha, Nebraska! Omaha is one of the larger cities in the country, and this particular show will have tens of thousands of people there. My book, while small potatoes, will be in full view of its largest audience to date, and I cannot wait. I am so excited to go and showcase my story to thousands. In February, I will be at a Comic-Con in Des Moines, Iowa. I’m in the Midwest and I have to start somewhere. Don’t judge. Des Moines is the capitol city of the state of Iowa and that convention should also bring in several thousand people. In the next two months, close to twenty thousand people will have seen my novel. That is just two events. I am working on some other events which will be smaller, but have a charitable impact. Those detail will be released another time.
I regularly hear stories from people who have read the book, and the feedback continues to be positive. One of my daughters instructors let me know that they need the sequel sooner rather than later and are not willing to wait. A friend gave his mother a signed copy for Christmas, and she was over the moon with having a potential collectable item. I truly don’t wish to disappoint.
I have worked hard and learned a lot in this whole process. But I truly wish to thank you. The fact that you are here, supporting me in this way is exciting and gives me big, happy vibes.
Thank you
Just so you know your grandfather was born in Omaha if you didn’t already know. Love you and good luck. They are both doing the Larry lean and keeping an eye on you!!
