Authors swear by social media.  The major social outlets like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram all make regular appearances when discussing marketing strategies for authors.  Blogging is another way for authors to reach people who might be moved by our works.  

What's funny about the whole thing is it works.  Readers find a novel or a series they fall in love with and want to know more.  Who is the author?  Where did they get the inspiration for the characters?  Are they in my area or do they live in a far off land with real dragons?  I have done it, and so have you.  As an author my imagination is always running.  Story lines and plot twists rattle about like a coffee grinder.  Social media is a whole new level for me.  I get lost in the algorithms and the duel between interesting v. thirsty.  I personally have questioned myself and others with the thought of, why would anyone follow me on social media?  I don't fight in politics, or post sick memes, or even do goofy videos on tic-tok.  

I wrote Bonded The Arena for myself and found it was acceptable and relevant enough to other people that I went forth to publish.  It has been a maniacal ride and i have rarely been more excited.  But just because I wrote a book, and someone read it, doesn't make me more interesting or relevant.  The book became the key.  Where is the book?  Where has it been and where is it going?  Who enjoyed reading Bonded and how did it help them?  What will this book do for my community or help this world become a better place for everyone?  That is the goal of Bonded The Arena, and now its social media pages, to help people in some way. 

Need to escape a boring afternoon or a dentist's waiting room?  Bonded!

 Stuck in an airplane with a screaming baby?  Bonded!

Date not going well and need a reason to run?  Bonded!

In an argument over the correct pronunciation of Faroe's name?  #bondedonthego !
